Placewell Retail realizes that getting your items speedily is essential for you, so we make every effort to process your order promptly. We are committed to delivering your order exactly, in good condition, and ever on time as pledged by us.
How will the delivery be done?
To ensure that your order reaches you in the fastest time and in good condition, we only transmit through Blue Dart. Placewell Retail will initiate the dispatch of goods through Blue Dart in original packing for Desktop, Printers and Notebooks. However, in case of select products where supplementary packaging is required for safe transit, we will be obliged to take necessary steps. The addressee will be intended to receive and accept the goods lest the ordered products are delivered without substantial damage.
What is the approximate delivery time?
All orders are delivered within 5 to 7 business days of placing an order. Delivery is not made on Sundays and Public Holidays since there are no transport services available on these days. In case of natural calamities and mishap the order may get deferred. We are not liable for delay in such cases.
How will I know the shipping status of my order?
We’ll notify you by sending an email when your product is shipped from our point. Additionally, you may track the shipping status of your order on our website, by clicking the ‘Track your Order’ link. We will also send a confirmation email once the order is delivered to you.
Are there any hidden costs (sales tax, octroi, etc.) on items sold by Placewell Retail?
There are NO hidden charges when you make a purchase at Placewell Retail other than the delivery charges. The same will be mentioned on the product page.
Can all the items in my order be shipped together?
It is our endeavor to ship all items in your order together; however this may not always be viable due to product attributes, or availability.
Can items be shipped to different addresses?
All items in an order will be shipped to the same address i.e. the Shipping address specified at the time of payment for that order. If you intent to ship products to different addresses, you would have to place multiple orders.
*Please mark- All items (inclusive of gifts) will be shipped with an invoice mentioning the price, as per Indian Tax Regulations.
Rejection and Cancellation
Rejection of order for any reasons other than that stated will be considered as order cancellation and cancellation charges as applicable will be levied.
Carrier will make two attempts to hand over the goods in an interval of 3 days. If the premises are locked or if the proposed recipients are inaccessible, it will be treated as undeliverable and the carrier will trigger return of goods to Placewell Retail. If such goods are to be redelivered, without having the order being cancelled, additional 2% of the cost of the goods or Rs.500/- whichever is higher towards the freight cost will be charged. And, if cancelled, 5% of cost of goods will be charged towards the cancellation.
DOA (Deficient On Arrival) Policy
A product having hardware failure due to manufacturing glitch within a period not exceeding 14 (fourteen) calendar days from the invoice date will be treated as DOA. In the event of a DOA, the customer has to contact the Placewell Retail Service Center. The first attempt shall be to fix and restore the product.
In order to claim DOA the following aspects are taken into account:
The product is inept for optimum performance
Ensure that the original packaging, applicable documents and all the accompanying accessories are available for return.
Affix a copy of sales slip inside the box with the following information: Brand Report Number; First Name, Surname and Contact details of the Customer; Serial Number, Part Number and Description of the defect or failure.
In case, any of the package contents are found missing or there is a external damage like dents, bumps, cracks, fluid leakage, scratches, etc., contact us instantly and arrange for dispatching the equipment back to the designated location.
