Like a flatbed scanner, it consists of a light source, a lens and a light sensor translating optical impulses into electrical ones. Lightweight at just 181 grams and with user-friendly dimensions of 24.6 x 9.7 x 7.9 cm, the device provides effortless comfort of usage. Additionally, like nearly all barcode readers, it contains a decoder circuitry analysing the barcode image data provided by the sensor and sending the barcode's content to the scanner's output port. This Barcode Scanner is suitable for a wide range of applications, from retail checkout and inventory management, to invoicing in offices and shipping receiving control in factories.  It is enabled with auto sense technology making it convenient to use in Hands free mode.

Performance

The TVS BS-C 101 Star Barcode Scanner has a scan angle of 45 degrees and a scan rate of 330 scans per second, which is the highest among its competitors. Empowered with Ultra scan decoding technology it can decode a majority of 1D barcodes as well as GS1 Data Bar. It supports auto scan mode and with an optional stand can work as a hands free scanner. It also features an impressive 32 bit microprocessor, which guarantees an unbeatable scan rate and decoding accuracy. 

Connectivity

High connectivity features as this bar code from TVS is detailed to work with a varied options of System Interfaces such as Keyboard, RS-232C, HID USB, USB virtual COM port and Wand types. The device has a corded Power Source and a depth of field of up to 300 mm, it is also enabled to decode from larger distances
